-Music on the shows I listen to is not played on any other stations. They give new bands a chance
- provides me with a inexpensive social life because of useful local information. Programmes enjoyable because of the local presenters. Very good music.
- I LIKE ALL THE VERY DIVERSE & INFORMATIVE MUSIC SHOWS.PLEASE KEEP THEM GOING
- Great radio station in general, with a nice fresh feel to it. None of that inbreed playlisted elderberry shenanigans you get on so many other frequencies. Keep it up.
- I LIKE ALL THE VERY DIVERSE MUSIC SHOWS,WHICH I FIND ARE VERY INFORMATIVE & INTERESTING TO LISTEN TO.I DONT WATCH TELIVISION & LISTEN TO MANY DIFFERENT RADIO SHOWS.
- Range of music, public broadcasts. Also the chance to volunteerm find out whats happening and also listen to different people broadcast!! Its fantastic, great for Manchester.
- Aimed at local community
- It’s Local
- The fact that all the shows are totally diverse in all aspects of music, news, events etc and that it is people local to the station who have a great input into it. It really is the Real Voice of Manchester.
- The range and variety of programmes and knowledgeable presenters. some great shows
- The variety of shows and music, real pepole, opportunity for people to volunteer and for local people to promote their things on air.
- variety, specialist programmes enthusiastic and knowledgeable presenters
- Community feel Inclusivity
I don’t listen to all the shows but I think it’s brilliant that they’re all there
My interests are catered for and so are those of other sections of the community
- It’s a great way of discovering music, new and old, local and international, and also gives valuable exposure to up and coming new artists from the region.
- No other station in the area has the freedom to let the presenters play the music and produce the programs they want. This opens up different styles and varieties of music and topics that people cannot get access to elsewhere. No other station I know plays indie, pop, jazz, soul, dance etc one after another and whilst promoting local activities in the community. They even have an program on local arts which doesn’t interest me but is refreshing to see a broadcaster give time for such a show.
- I love the fact they give unsigned acts a platform and that they get involved wth unsigned gigs and seminars around manchester.
- friendly…serves the community…community radio is very important
- Not only is it clearly important voice of the community, but they support unsigned bands from all over, and the chat isn’t too bad either!
- The community aspect and it’s ability to support local and other unsigned musicians
- Few commercials; good music; high quality of local content;accesability
- It is an eclectic mix of programmes made and presented by memebers of the local community. Gives listeners the opportunity to feel connected to thier own communities, an understanding of others and what is happening on their doorstep. Provides opporunities for local people to build skills not just in radio but life long skills and confidence.
- Real people, real community, things that are relevant to who and where we all are.
- Plays excellent music that you don’t hear elsewhere. No commercial adverts. Friendly presenters. Supports local musicians. Supports unsigned musicians. Supports public transport. Gives a voice to different groups of people in Manchester.
I also really like the morning transmissions with no DJs, just playing wonderful music.
ALL FM is a really special radio station for me.
- Wide variety of music, interesting interviews, great presenters who show interestin the comunity.
- With ALL other stations (without fail) you turn on to a predictable playlist. All provides real eclectic, global music, information and discussion. It also provides an ideal platform for many budding locally based talents. It provides a commiunity focus and platform for outsiders to be welcomed, heard and share cultures.. It’s great. Every city should have an Allfm.
