ALL FM GETS ITS OWN X-FACTOR!
ALL FM 96.9 gets it's own X-Factor! EAST-FACTOR is a brand new talent competition for solo singers, run by local radio station ALL FM - and it's coming to East Manchester!
Anyone with a talent for singing can enter EAST FACTOR, but competition will be fierce in the run up to the Grand Final. Based on the highly successful X-Factor series on television, this is a chance for anyone to sing and win. "We decided we wanted to open East Factor up to all abilities", said organiser Paul Graham. "if you can sing in the shower, then you can enter our competition!".
The final of EAST FACTOR will be held live at the Party in the Park event, in Philips Park on July 13th. ALL FM will be broadcasting live from the big stage at the Party, and the six finalists will get to perform one song during the afternoon.
What can you win? Well, the lucky winners will get time in Blueprint Studio's a professional recording studio to re-record the song and also be interviewed live on ALL FM.
Check out the studio visit www.blueprint-studios.co.uk
"East Factor heats are being held now," says Paul, "and all you have to do to enter is send us a rough cd of yourself singing any song to Danielle and myself - grab your microphone now!".
EAST FACTOR is open to anyone over 16, but is only for solo singers, not for groups. Send your cd now, with details of who you are and a bit about yourself, to ALL FM East Factor Competition,Mill StreetVenture Centre, Mill Street, Manchester M11 2AD.

VOLUNTEERING
Are you interested in doing more than just listening to the radio? Here at ALL fm we are currently in need of staff to work, in a voluntary capacity, in both journalism and production.
As a volunteer producer, your work would cover a wide range of tasks. You would work within a dynamic team, however still have the opportunity to develop an independent creative vision. Ideally applicants will be able to use editing software, have good interpersonal skills so as to get the best out of people in interview, and have creative ideas to use making ads and jingles.
To work for us in journalism, you would be helping to source, write and edit news items, contact interviewees and arrange to speak with them, and ultimately to assemble the daily news coverage.
Find out more about these exciting opportunities contact Jason on 0161 248 6888 or email jason@allfm.org.
