The ‘26.2 Fest’ will run from 7pm on Friday Oct 17th through to 9.12pm the following evening. (Saturday 18th Oct) and follows the success of a 26.2hr Marathon Broadcast Challenge in 2024 which raised £2000 for ALL FM and Forever Manchester.

Both studios at ALL FM will host artists from Greater Manchester and will include performances from artists from a diverse range of communities. “We have been looking at a wide range of genres, choirs, performance poets, singers, singer- songwriters, spoken word enthusiasts, comedians, including the weird and the wonderful” said Ed Connole from ALL FM.

Forever Manchester’s Terry Snowden said “we learned a lot from the 26.2hr Marathon Broadcast last year and had a lot of fun! It also provided a great platform for bringing a range of diverse communities together, and if all goes to plan this year, there’s no reason why 26.2 Fest can’t become an annual event”.
